After showing her collection during , Liselore Frowijn shot a fresh campaign in collaboration with the talented photographer Olya Oleinic. We are glad to feature this Spring/Summer 2018 MEXICO campaign as an exclusive editorial on Imprint Mag. We spoke to Liselore Frowijn about art, travel and the way creativity hits her at her Amsterdam atelier. Keep an eye on the website for the additional interview.
This lively collection came together inspired by Liselore’s experiences in Mexico, her love for Frida Khalo adding a modern twist and a free spirit. Liselore is always looking for unexpected compositions, playing with cultural influences and material, using colorful psychedelic prints and silver eco-leather made from pineapples, in combination with button-up dresses in dusty desert colors and deconstructed jean jackets with lots of zippers.
During the show, the models walked the runway with “No wall” and “Furiosa” written on their faces. Her collection is representing strong, empowering women and Mexican influences as a symbol of freedom: “No wall can prevent people from wanting to be free.”
